Zone Guardians & Threat Levels
The world of Steal A Brainrot Egg is structured in concentric threat zones, each defended by powerful NPC monster guardians. In Tier 1 (Starter Meadows), Capybara and Lion guards patrol Common and Bee nests; they move at roughly 100-300 speed and can be easily outrun once players complete basic treadmill training. In Tier 2 (Prehistoric Zone), the massive T-Rex patrols Dinosaur Eggs; it moves at extreme velocity, requiring 2,000 to 10,000+ speed and agile corner-cutting to escape. In Tier 3 (Fantasy Wilds), the Unicorn (recommended 3,000,000 speed), Cheetah, and Goat guards execute rapid intercept paths. In Tier 4 (Volcanic & Galactic Sectors), the Three-Headed Dragon and cosmic guardians guard 3-hour Dragon Eggs and 24-hour Verity Eggs; these monsters execute instant-kill headbutt charges and require obstacle-baiting maneuvers.

Guardian Combat: The Headbutt & Drop-Egg Mechanic
Guardians cannot be damaged or killed by standard player weapons; your only defense is speed, agility, and pathfinding awareness. When you pick up an egg from a nest, all guardians within that zone immediately aggro onto you. If a guardian makes physical contact with your character, it performs a lethal headbutt attack that kills you instantly. Upon death, your character respawns at your base and the stolen egg is dropped on the spot, where it can be claimed by other players or reset. Surviving requires baiting the guardian's forward charge into geometry (rocks, fences, hills) and sprinting in the opposite direction.

Base Boundary Line & Safe Zone Mechanics
Every player owns a personal Base designated by a colored boundary line. While inside your base, zone guardians cannot enter and their aggro drops instantly. Furthermore, to officially secure a stolen egg, you must physically carry it across your base boundary threshold. Crossing the line registers the egg as successfully stolen and automatically transfers it into an open incubator slot. In addition, rival players cannot attack you inside your base, but they can walk in and steal eggs currently sitting in your incubators if left unattended.

Treadmill Stations & Speed Formulas
Speed is the foundational stat governing player survivability and map access. All players begin with 10 Speed. Base treadmills allow players to passively accumulate speed simply by walking or running on the belt. Upgrading your treadmill increases the speed granted per tick: initial upgrades grant +15, +30, and +50 speed, while mid-game upgrades grant thousands. The ultimate upgrade is the VIP Treadmill, costing 120,000,000 Cash, which enables players to reach multi-million velocity and effortlessly outrun all zone guardians.
